This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 4.
Did you know that I have super powers? And so do you!
Before you tell me I’m crazy let’s step it back a little. Natalie told me I have super powers… so clearly she’s the crazy one. Only kidding ?
But really! I never thought about what I’m good at being a “super power.” I thought oh that… Well other people must be good at that too. I’m not special.
It all came so easy to me and I’m over here thinking it’s easy because everyone can do this. Eh, wrong!!! It’s easy because it’s my super power. It’s my zone of genius.

So, I explored myself a little and asked around to my family and friends and got some good laughs when I asked them what my super powers were. And I give you my three super powers:
1. Making people happy

I know what you’re thinking, really Megan? Are you a dog? Making people happy, ha! But really all my life people have called me their little ray of sunshine. I remember when I worked at my corporate job, people would say “Megan you light up my day when you come in.” People stop me all the time to ask me why I’m always smiling or to tell me my smiles contagious. I’m gonna go ahead and call this a super power because I think now a days it’s actually really hard to come across people who are genuinely always giving off positive vibes.
2. Networking

Not only networking but also coming up with fun and creative ways to grow my network. This one I came across when I started my first online job. I’m in sales or as I like to call it – the business of relationships, when I started I was new to my town and I had to create a network from scratch. And people kept coming to me saying, “how are you doing this?!” And I’m over here like, how do they not know… I didn’t realize at the time I was being totally dense and this was my zone of genius. And I quickly found out how much I loved teaching people about this!
3. Listening to others

Again, I know I sound like a happy dog. I make people smile, I listen, I’m loyal… But all my life I have been fantastic at listening to people’s problems, and I love doing it! I was always that friend that people would come to just to vent. I also have always had a lot of strangers tell me their life stories, must be a side effect of the resting happy face. And as I got older I realized a lot of people don’t have the patience to listen to people’s play-by-plays. And I just love it!
So there you have it. I’m a smiling, networking, big eared super-girl!
What are your superpowers?
