Oh, well… HELLOOOOO there beautiful human! It’s been a long time since I’ve been in this corner of the internet. Today I am not feeling 100% and I felt called to snuggle up and share some words on my heart today.

So, uh… what’s been going on?

Well… I bought a one way ticket to London back in March of 2019, to leave in July 2019. I had no idea what that would look like, no idea how I would make it work, but I was absolutely sure it was where I was meant to be.

In June of 2019, we gave up our apartment…

Before we went across the pond, we made our way to explore Colorado and a quick stop in Dallas, TX.

Fun little moment for us… While we were in Dallas we got to see friends we met while we were in The Maldives, who we ended up traveling with for several weeks. This world is so beautifully connected when we open our doors to joy and purpose.

Once we got to London, we knew exactly where we wanted to be based… our second home. A place that stole our hearts on first sight.

Dear Scotland, I’m still in love with you.

BIG new goal for us: Summer home in Scotland

I am without a doubt sure I would never tire of Scotland. It’s an inner feeling there that is hard to put into words.

I stand in front of this city and I get an emotional response. I’ve never experienced anything like it. I’m constantly in pure bliss, without any effort. It’s like a breath of fresh air.

All I know is when you find this kind of feeling… you follow it.

No dream unfolds perfect though…

When we got to our apartment in Aberdeen. We were met by a host who told us we had no internet connection… this is a problem for two people who work online. Okay, no worries we can figure this out. Then we got into the house and smelled strong cigarette smoke… a problem for someone who’s had 2 lung surges. Okay, no worries we will figure this out…

Final straw… We lifted the mattress and found a family of (large) spiders.

NOPE. Not my cup of tea for a month.

This was smack in the middle of Fringe Festival in Scotland – meaning apartments and stays that were vacant were few and far between, and prices were skyrocketed.

After some mild and much waranted panic… we decided to ADAPT.

In the midst of uncertainty, panic and fear will only stall you from solutions.

We found a temporary stay in Dundee while we mapped out the next plan.

Naturally… that included some plane tickets. We decided with this pivot we would go explore Portugal and Spain.

It was a wild adventure. We checked off so many new Scottish adventures along with stops in Portugal, Spain, and Belgium. By the way… Belgium was a secret gem! We loved all of the architecture and food!

Okay, this wasn’t meant to be a blog on travel, but I had to catch you up on where I’ve been. More on traveling and making it your reality above, tap the photo for the IG post ^

So I got home, and some more lifey stuff happened… another post for another day. And now here we are… April of 2020. I’m in Florida and the world for the most part… is in quarantine. Like some end of times movie, we are resitricted in the way we leave our houses and weary of coming into any kind of new conatct with strangers. It’s an odd season of life to say the least. More than anything it is an uncertain season. We have never been through anything to this degree and no one really has a direct answer. And that uncertainty, terrifies most humans.

Lucky for you, you stumbled upon my blog post. And part of my purpose on earth is thriving in uncertainty. For some reason I have been wired to come the most alive in uncertainty.

It took me an awakening or two to figure this out. I think this is why I love travel or why I could hold so much grace in my grief.

Now, friends, don’t get me wrong… thriving in uncertainty has it’s own dark side. Just like thriving in certainty does. Right now, we are in uncertain times, so I want to use my gift to help you find peace… maybe even some wild joy in these times. Because THAT is how I’ve been able to do all of the best things in my life. By finding the grace in between the chaos.

Unattach From The Fear

In the midst of uncertainty, panic and fear will only stall you from solutions.

We are wired with fear to keep us safe, fast.
Our fear responses are like that… (I’m snapping my fingers but obvi you can’t see it)

Meaning… our fear has GOT us when we really need it.

All too often we let fear drive the entire show.

We let it drive the way we design our life (or let autopilot run it), the way we fill our time, the way we speak to other humans, our own truths…. We even let fear run our stillness and isolation.

It’s important to be responsible and compassionate for what is happening around you.

AND…

You can be attached to preparedness and responsibility without being attached to fear.

When you choose that, to not feed into the collective fear, you’ll start to hear what really matters to you. You’ll start to open up to more purpose.

Ground In, Get Rooted

Get rooted in your own inner power. We are constantly surrounded by messages telling us how to live the “right” way. Maybe they even feed into our hopes and dreams.

Humans grasp to anything they can know in uncertainty, because certainty is humanity. The uncertain requires you to surrender and feel into a faith instead. It requires you to tap into something you can’t see or hear broadcasted by some other human you trust more than yourself.

The short: Humans like to find the tangibles.

In uncertainty, some of the most powerful answers can come in the intangibles. You have to lean in, trust yourself, and know you are divinely supported.

The problem isn’t that you don’t have faith… the problem is that you have faith in the wrong things.

Everyday we do things like drive full speed in a car with another car driving full speed in the opposite direction, just a painted line to seperate us.

You have faith that it’ll work out for you.

When I get on a giant metal bus that flies me across oceans and mountains, I have FAITH that I am safe.

You can have that same faith any time.

Faith and fear, both exist solely in your mind.

Find the things that pull you back into your reality. This one you’re living is a once in a lifetime shot, and you are the author of it. What brings you back to center each day.

Maybe it’s journaling, meditating, dancing, crystals, music… find those things that ground you in, and even in the most uncertain of times, you’ll find certainty within.

Alright my lovely humans, thank you for sharing this space with me today.
